Refund policy

At Art Wall™, we want you to love how your space feels with our art. Each piece is carefully crafted with attention to detail and creativity. Because most of our products are handmade, our return policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our artists.


30-Day Return Window

You may return eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order, provided that:

  • You notify us as early as possible within the return window.

  • Items are returned unused, in original condition, and with original packaging intact.

  • The product is not excluded under our non-returnable items list below.


🎨 Hand-Painted & Made-to-Order Paintings (Artwork)

Every painting sold on artwall.com.au is hand-painted by an artist specifically for you once an order is placed.


Because each piece is created individually, no two are ever identical. Small variations in brushwork, colour, and texture are natural and part of the creative process — not defects.

Some mixed-media artworks may include materials that extend beyond the canvas or frame edges. These design features are intentional and reflect the artist’s vision.


By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these artistic characteristics as intrinsic to the product.

Because each artwork is made to order and fragile, returns for change of mind, personal preference, or interior design mismatch are generally not accepted.

If an exception is granted at our discretion, a $50 restocking fee will apply per painting. This covers the cost of inspection, handling, and reconditioning required to prepare the piece for resale.

Please note that:

  • Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Returned items must be in resalable condition with all original packaging and components included.

  • Artworks that show signs of use or are not properly repackaged may not qualify for a refund.

Refunds (less applicable fees) are processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.


🛒 Accurate Product Representation

We are committed to helping customers make confident online purchases. Each listing includes detailed descriptions, high-resolution images, and, where available, videos to accurately showcase the product.

If you change your mind after receiving your order, you're welcome to return it, provided it meets the return conditions. We will process a refund for the product value within 7 business days of receiving it back. However, please note:

  • Shipping fees (both inbound and outbound) are non-refundable for returns made due to a change of mind.

  • Items must be in resalable condition with all original packaging and components included.


❌ Non-Returnable Items

Due to their nature, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Made-to-order or personalised paintings

  • Gift cards

  • Final sale or clearance items (clearly marked at checkout)


📦 How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at care@artwall.com.au with your order number and reason for return.

  2. Our team will review your request and respond with return instructions.

  3. Return the item(s) using a trackable shipping method.

  4. After we inspect the return and confirm eligibility, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7 business days.


⚠️ Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include:

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

  • Your order number and details

We’ll promptly organise a replacement, exchange, or refund depending on the issue.
